All items purchased are non-returnable. Digital or “online-only” products are non-returnable / refundable upon purchase. Customers may return damaged or defective product within thirty days of purchase with prior approval by calling customer service at 310-553-7686 or toll free at 888-774-6300. By agreeing to the terms and conditions of your purchase you have acknowledged your awareness of the foregoing.
CUSTOMER GENERAL INFORMATION PAGE & PURCHASE AGREEMENT
Be sure to read this document completely, as it is your contract with the provider of the service.
A. Agreement This agreement is entered into between ProfessionalExamReview.com, a Cengage Learning company, located at 400 South Beverly Drive, Suite 210, Beverly Hills, CA 90212, (310) 553-7686 and you, the Customer / Purchaser:
B. This agreement is a legally binding instrument when agreed to by the customer and accepted by ProfessionalExamReview.com. Your acknowledgement of this agreement demonstrates that you have been provided with: (1) a written statement of the refund policy including examples of how it applies and; (2) the course catalog, including all material facts concerning ProfessionalExamReview.com and the program or instructional product which are likely to affect your decision to enroll.
C. This agreement is specific to the courses provided by ProfessionalExamReview.com Total Clock Hours: There is a suggested minimum of study to effectively use our products and services however, no customer may be compelled to complete a course of study. Approximately 250 hours are suggested to complete effective preparation for the CFA exam. Preparation products are date specific and shall be effectively retired on the 31st day of December in the year for which they were specifically purchased. A maximum of 12 months is granted to consume the product.
Your start date is the date you purchased the course. Your completion date is the date you successfully consume the product as described in the section below. Otherwise the product shall be effectively retired on the 31st day of December in the year for which they were specifically purchased.
D. Exam Procedures, Passing Requirements and Certificate of Completion Professional Exam Review Products may be purchased in Print, Digital, and Audio formats. Upon enrollment, customers are asked to select their own user name and password, as well as provide their mother's maiden name for added security. (See Privacy Policy)
Customers may initially log into the learning center with their unique customer name and password where they may view the product title that they purchased and the exam other assets associated with either registration or purchase.
All digital products will be controlled by computer and the server maintaining the ProfessionalExamReview.com web site, customers will be provided with a unique hyperlink inside the learning center interface to access the digital products online.
Once a customer completes and passes any online-examination, the customer’s record will be maintained for a period of time sufficient to allow the see the results of their work.
Written Exams Customers can elect to use the exam prep products in written form. The written exam can be taken directly from the purchased books using the answer sheet(s) included. Customers can grade their own test(s) and track their own progress manually using the “Quick Grade” pre-punched answer sheets also included in the exam books.
The time allowed for taking both of the written sample practice exams and the sample final exam is supposed to be six hours taken in two 3-hour settings. The same applies to the online practice exam. The actual Level I CFA exam is 6 hours – 3 hours in the AM & 3 hours in the PM. To simulate the actual exam setting you should take these practice exams in two 3-hour increments. Customers should not consult any materials other than the exam and or approved financial calculator during the testing process.
