
Edward Nelling, Ph.D, CFA, is Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Associate Professor of Finance at the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University. Ed has taught courses in corporate finance and investment analysis at Drexel since 1999 where he has received distinguished teaching awards in the Executive MBA Programs. From 1993 to 1999, Ed was Assistant Professor of Finance at Georgia Tech University, where he received teaching awards as "Professor of the Year" and "Core Professor of the Year" in the MBA program. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton).
Ed's research is focused on mutual funds, corporate governance, and real estate finance. His work has been published in the
Journal of Finance, the
Financial Analysts Journal, the
Journal of Portfolio Management, the
Journal of Investing,
Real Estate Economics, and the
Journal of Futures Markets.
Ed is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia. He has taught CFA preparation courses since 2000 to hundreds of candidates. He is the author of Financial Statement Analysis, Volume 2 of Candidate Study Notes.
