Clay Singleton is Professor of Finance at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. During his career he has been an investment practitioner, educator, and researcher. Before joining the Crummer faculty he was vice president of Ibbotson Associates (now a division of Morningstar) where he was responsible for consulting, training and research activities. He also served as Ibbotson Associates’ compliance officer for its Registered Investment Advisor activities. In a consulting role for PCE Investment Bankers, Clay serves as Director of Indexes where he oversees index operations and directs research.

Clay earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1985 and has prepared hundreds of students to take the CFA exam since then.

Clay’s research in investments and finance has been widely published in both practitioner and academic journals. He has contributed articles to the Journal of Finance, Financial Management, and the Journal of Portfolio Management, among others.

He is the author of the Getting Started guide, the HiLites and Study Pilots, and co-authors the print and online Practice Exams.
