Mike is an Emeritus Professor and former chairman of the finance department at Arizona State University. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he has served as a director of the Phoenix Society of Financial Analysts and spent the past 15 years as a Level I instructor and course developer. Since the early 90's, he has taught nearly 100 CFA review seminars in locations all over the United States and Canada, as well as Europe (London, Frankfurt, and Zurich) and the Far East (Bangkok, Jakarta, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Singapore).

Mike is the author of two best selling college textbooks, Fundamentals of Investing, 10th Edition (Addison-Wesley); and Personal Financial Planning, 11th Edition (South-Western, Cengage Learning). He is the series editor and is the author of the Fixed Income study notes.

RANDALL S. BILLINGSLEY, PH.D., FRM, CFA

Randy Billingsley is a finance professor at Virginia Tech University and is an award-winning teacher at the undergraduate and graduate levels. His research, consulting, and teaching focus on equity valuation, risk management and derivatives-based strategies, and regulatory finance.

As a consultant, Randy has acted as an expert witness on equity valuation, capital cost estimation, and economic damages analysis. His consulting clients include BellSouth Telecommunications, the United States Telecommunications Association, LECG, Sprint and others.

A CFA charterholder, Randy has taught CFA examination review courses at multiple levels for the last 15 years across the U.S., Europe and Asia to hundreds of students. He is the author of Portfolio Management, Equity Investments and Alternative and Derivative Investments in these volumes.

JOHN PAUL BROUSSARD, PH.D., FRM, CFA

John is an Associate Professor of Finance at Rutgers University, Camden, NJ campus where he teaches investments and corporate finance. John has won numerous teaching awards in his career including the prestigious Provost’s Award and the School of Business Teaching Excellence Award.

John has taught study review courses in the areas of corporate finance for multiple levels of the CFA Exam since 1999 in Europe, Asia and the US. John is a CFA charterholder, a Certified Financial Risk Manager, and a Professional Risk Manager. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Professional Risk Managers International Association. He is the author of Volume 1, Ethics and Quantitative Analysis,  and an instructor in the Video Lectures.

JOHN S. HOWE, PH.D., CFA

John is a faculty member at the University of Missouri-Columbia where he holds the Missouri Bankers Chair. At MU, he teaches banking and corporate finance in the MBA program and corporate finance in the Ph.D. program. In 2002, he received the prestigious William T. Kemper Fellow for Excellence in Teaching designation, a campus-wide teaching award. He has also won numerous other teaching awards.

Since earning his CFA charter in 1993, John has taught and worked with CFA review courses in his particular areas of expertise including Economics and Corporate Finance. He is the author of those topics in these volumes and an instructor in the Video Lectures.

EDWARD NELLING PH.D, CFA

Edward Nelling, Ph.D, CFA, is Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Associate Professor of Finance at the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University. Ed has taught courses in corporate finance and investment analysis at Drexel since 1999 where he has received distinguished teaching awards in the Executive MBA Programs. From 1993 to 1999, Ed was Assistant Professor of Finance at Georgia Tech University, where he received teaching awards as "Professor of the Year" and "Core Professor of the Year" in the MBA program.

Ed is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia. He has taught CFA preparation courses since 2000 to hundreds of candidates. He is the author of Financial Statement Analysis in these volumes and an instructor in the Video Lectures.

J. CLAY SINGLETON, PH.D., CFA

Clay Singleton is professor of finance at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. During his career he has been an investment practitioner, educator, and researcher. Before joining the Crummer faculty he was vice president of Ibbotson Associates (now a division of Morningstar) where he was responsible for consulting, training, research activities and compliance. In a consulting role for PCE Investment Bankers, Clay serves as Director of Indexes where he oversees index operations and directs research.

Clay earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1985 and has prepared hundreds of students to take the CFA exam since then. He is the author of the Getting Started guide, the HiLites and Study Pilots, and co-authors the print and online Practice Exams.

E. THEODORE (TED) VEIT, PH.D, CFA

Ted has been a Professor of Finance at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College since 1987. He teaches finance courses at the MBA level and has received several faculty awards for teaching and research. From 1993 through 2001, Ted also served on the MBA faculty at the University of Porto, Portugal. He has been a visiting professor at the Czech Management Center (Czech Republic) and has taught at the Budapest University of Economics.

Ted has professional training experience with a number of businesses such as Ibbotson Associates and Sun Trust Banks. He is a CFA review instructor and a member of the Orlando Society of Financial Analysts. Ted is co-author of the print and electronic Practice Exams, and author of the Flashcards, e-Flashcards and PowerPoint™ Slides for the Video Lectures.

CHRISTOPHER PRESTIGIACOMO, PH.D., CFA

Chris Prestigiacomo is Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Chris teaches the Principles of Accounting, Cost/Managerial and Intermediate Financial Accounting for Finance Majors. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance with a specialization in Accounting and Microeconomics.

Chris has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation as well as that of Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and has taught accounting workshops for the CFA Exam for Edward Jones and CFA Exam Review courses for Stalla and Financial Analysts Review
